2011
István Bibó
A single sentence in the Preamble to the new Hungarian Constitution, which came into force in January 2012, erased 46 years of Hungarian history, including the struggle for freedom, democracy, human rights and the ideal of the republic.
The nearly 46 frottage portraits constitute a kind of personal hommage to politicians, dissident thinkers and artists, who embodied courage and the spiritual freedom during those “missing years”.
